Projects: Environmental Services
EPS provides a full range of environmental services, including Site Investigation and
Remediation, Hazardous Waste Removal and Underground Storage Tank Removal. With core clients
including railroad companies, public entities and major oil companies, EPS has built its
reputation around sound execution of environmental projects to assist clients in complying
with environmental regulations. Below you will find completed projects from a variety of
each of EPS core clients.
METROPOLITAN WATER DISTRICT - EVR PHASE II - EASTERN REGION
Metropolitan Water District awarded EPS a contract to modify the existing vent system to comply with the Enhanced Vapor Recovery Phase II regulations.
JURUPA UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT - EVR PHASE II MODIFICATION
Recent regulations, initiated by the California Air Resource Board, requires that owners or operators of gasoiline dispensing service stations must install an approved vapor recovery system to the existing vapor vent line system. EPS has acquired the necessary certifications from the ICC and installation approval from the manufactures of the approved equipmrent.
San Bernardino County - UST Tank Top & Monitor Upgade
County of San Bernardino contracted with EPS to upgrade (1) 6,000 gallon diesel tank for the Information Service Department backup generator. The approximate duration of the project was 45 days.
BNSF Railway - Soil Remediation - RANA Station Colton, California
These photos were taken in July 2007. The project site is approximately 20 acres in size and located south of the Mill St. overpass bridge west of Mt. Vernon Ave. in Colton, California. This environmental project was part of a program initiated by the BNSF Railway. A Metrolink Maintenance of Way facility is proposed to be built at this site.
Shell Oil Service Station - UST Removal - Monterey Park
This is a photo of an EPS project which involved the removal of several Underground Storage Tanks from a busy location in Monterey Park, California.
Texaco Branded Service Station - Facility Demolition - Leucadia, California
This photo shows EPS in the initial demolition phase of a Texaco branded Service Station in Leucadia, California. Asbestos survey has been completed and the asbestos abatement has begun at the roof where asbestos was detected.
County of San Bernardino - UST Removal - Barstow, California
This project was completed by EPS for the County of San Bernardino Architecture and Engineering Department. Photos show the tanks have been uncovered and prepared for removal.
